Autofocus Not Working Properly?
Your Sigma lens used to work just fine with other brands of camera bodies (such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, or even Sigma camera bodies themselves). But now, you’re not able to get those crisp, focused photos you once were. Why is that? Because lens and cameras are made of small pieces that move together, parts can wear and motors can change over time. Even when you thought auto-focus was working correctly, those small changes in autofocus accuracy can leave you with blurry photos (meaning you spend extra time after the shoot in photo editing software).
You could spend lots of money on new gear, or you could simply have your camera body and lenses calibrated by a professional. You Need Lens Calibration »
Photos Have Spots or Blemishes?
Pictures from your Sigma DSLR or mirrorless camera suddenly (but consistently) have small dark spots or shadows on them. Why is that? It’s most likely because the CMOS or CCD imaging sensor on the camera body has dust, dirt, or debris on it. This is a normal occurrence, but it’s still irritating because now you have to spend hours digitally editing the photos in Sigma Photo Pro, Photoshop, etc. Plus, you paid a lot of money for both the camera and the lens, so why can’t they just work the way they used to?
Get spot-free photos again with professional sensor cleaning for your Sigma camera. In most cases, it’ll fix the problems causing the spots, so you can start taking clear photos without the need to manually edit out the blemishes. You Need Sensor Cleaning »

Why Are My Sigma Pictures Blurry?
While there’s many possibilities for why your photos are out of focus, here’s something you might not have thought about: it could be that the autofocus settings in your camera body aren’t properly-calibrated to work with the specific lens you’re using. This can even happen if the camera body and lens are both made by Sigma. Autofocus is an incredibly-valuable tool for professional photographers. But, when the camera body isn’t properly calibrated to work with the specific lens you’re using, the camera’s software can’t accurately calculate the autofocus distance of the lens. So, it front-focuses or back-focuses images.
Professional cameras and lenses are typically not manufactured to identical specifications or tested with all possible combinations (even from the same manufacturer). Add in the fact of normal wear and tear over time, the small moving parts that need to be perfectly synchronized to give you focused photos, and the possibility you may be using a different lens brand (such as Tamron, Zeiss, Nikon, Canon, Sony, Irix, Samyang, Meike, etc) with your Sigma camera body, and you end up with a camera body that’s not calibrated with the lens you’re using.
Surprisingly, it’s common to have a new high-end DSLR camera and lens not be calibrated to work together.
Even camera equipment that was once perfectly calibrated can become misaligned over time.

Sigma Sensor Cleaning Services
Should I Have My Sigma Camera’s Sensor Professionally Cleaned?
Causing permanent damage to the sensor is easy to do.
Unfortunately, Sigma sensor cleanings aren’t easy do-it-yourself (DIY) projects. Damage to the shutter or a scratch to the low-pass filter can happen with even a subtle wrong move. That’ll likely bring about a costly camera repair. So unless you’re experienced, we don’t recommend cleaning your Sigma’s sensor on your own.
Where can I get my Sigma camera’s sensor cleaned?
Sensor cleaning is available for entire USA (except AK & HI) from our independent, Pennsylvania-based sensor cleaning company, Perfect Image Camera. We don’t outsource any part of the process, so your gear won’t leave the country.
