Repair FAQs

How do I get a quote?

Getting a quote is easy! Simply fill out our online form for a free digital or film repair quote and a tech will get back to you within 24 hours. If you decided to drop off or ship your gear to us, a $35 bench fee is required.

How much are repair quotes?

We offer free online estimates by filling out our digital or film repair estimate form. If a digital repair is not possible on site and we have to ship to another authorized repair shop (likely the manufacturer), we still offer an estimate before any work is performed. A declined estimate fee of $35 does apply if you decline the estimate and want the gear returned which covers shipping to and from the off site repair center. Otherwise, we can recycle the gear for free. All repairs require a $35 bench fee. Start with our online form to decided if dropping off or shipping in your repair is the right choice for you!

How long will my repair take?

We strive to provide you with quick service, however, we are one of the few local camera shops in the Central PA area providing quality repairs. Generally, repairs are completed within 1-3 weeks. However, parts delays can significantly delay a repair. The best thing to do is respond to our estimate and communications quickly and stay in touch with the tech working on your order. They will be able to give you a better update once they have the gear in hand. Sensor cleanings, lens cleanings, calibrations, film camera cleanings, film camera light seals, and firmware updates are completed within 1-2 business days. If you’re in need of a camera or lens while yours is in for repair, check out our wide selection of rental gear.
