Camera And Lens Repair Service – How It Works
Sending your equipment in for a repair estimate is easy!
1. Drop off your gear or ship it to us
Option 1 – Local Drop Off
If you live within a convenient distance from our Lancaster PA shop, you can drop off your gear for a repair estimate during normal business hours – no appointment necessary. There is a bench fee of $35 for all repairs. What an estimate before you drop off? Just fill out the form below and a tech will get back to you within 24 business hours.
Option 2 – Ship Your Gear
Not local? No problem! If you live in the continental US, we can service your gear. Just fill out the form below so we can better assist you before you ship your gear in. A tech will follow up via email with more details and if you choose to move forward with a repair, we’ll email you instructions for shipping your gear. Once your gear arrives, you’ll receive a confirmation email, an invoice for the $35 bench fee, and we’ll process your repair.
2. Get an estimate
On average, estimates take 3 business days. There is a bench fee of $35 for all repairs. We’ll keep you posted through email and text updates. From there, you can approve or decline the repair. If you approve the repair, the bench fee will be applied to your repair. Feel free to check in with the tech working on your repair and ask more questions. If we can’t perform the repair on site, we’ll offer to ship it to another authorized repair center for you.
3. Approve or decline the repair
Once the estimate is approved, your gear will continue through the repair process and we’ll contact you when it’s complete.
If declined, you can pick your gear up. If it was sent to an offsite repair center, we will process the declined repair and let you know when it’s back in the shop for pick up. Off site declined repairs will be charged a fee of $35 to cover shipping to and from the service center.
4. Get your gear: Pickup or have your gear shipped back
Once your repair is completed, we’ll contact you via email and text to notify you your service is complete. Then you can then pick your gear up in store.
If you’re not local or just prefer to have it shipped back to you, we will safely pack your gear and ship it via UPS ground. You’ll receive a tracking number once it ships. (Shipping fees apply.)
