“Welcome, and thank you for having a look at my photography. I’d like to share my passion for creating not only a moment in time but the emotion that I felt while making the images. These images show the world through my lens, and from my genuine passion for the landscape as it has shaped every aspect of my life.

Through these images I express my feelings for the Southwest and the wonders of nature that I encounter along the way. My goal in capturing these images is to bring my experiences to you, the viewer.

Even in the hands of a master, a camera alone will never capture Mother Nature as we observe it with all of our senses. My goal is to share the treasured experiences I have had.

I believe the most important quality of an image, is to evoke an emotional response. While everything in nature does this for me, selecting just the right places and moments to make an image that conveys those emotions is far more difficult.

It is an exciting process, and above all, a way for me to do what I love most, exploring wilderness and capturing it for you to see. Without wilderness, I would never have begun my photographic journey.”

“I use photography as a means to document the world around me. I am blessed to have captured pictures that call attention to things that other people may overlook. This is nature through my eyes.  Come follow along on my journey. I like to communicate my vision of the natural world by extracting images that evoke a Sense of Place and transport the viewer into the environment I am photographing.

With these photographs I attempt to bring my experiences of this beautifully created land to the viewer.  How we see is a very personal thing and here I will be sharing my vision of the landscape in Southern Utah and Arizona.

The great thing about Landscape photography is that I don’t need to go far, although I do travel all over the United States to capture its beauty. These images are all taken in the South Western portions of America.  It is not about where you are, but how you see.

There is a certain freedom that comes only when we are immersed in the natural world. I come to the wilderness to experience something much greater than myself, and I hope you will too. I am truly passionate to communicate the visual beauty of nature and hope that viewers of my work will come to appreciate the beautiful landscapes of this world we live in and help work to preserve it.

Thank you for taking this journey with me today.”
